This snare has a great range and can really be tightened up to get a great pop. It has a small imperfection/scratch in the laquer where a mic clamp was mounted. Pork Pie BOB Snare I picked up this Pork Pie snare brand new at Guitar Center last fall, (I paid $234+tax) but continuous financial setbacks have forced me to sell it. Interestingly, I've hit this drum MAYBE fifty times--I've never even wound up and given it a good crack! My living situation never allowed for playing above a whisper. It's 14" x 6.5", with 10 lugs and triple flange hoops. Still has factory heads, as I never came close to even making a mark on the batter head (the pictures show that this snare is minty fresh). I don't accept returns, however I inspect and post my items diligently, and they are always packed with as much care as is possible.
